COURSES
“Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15). L.I.F.E. Bible College has been the primary training institute for Foursquare Australia for over six decades. Its primary goal is to equip, train and then release people into service in God’s kingdom.
There are three different courses available: Certificate in Biblical Studies (36 units), Advanced Certificate in Theology (54 units) and Certificate in Missions and Transformational Leadership (12 units). The courses are facilitated through online learning, with a mix of live classes, teacher provided notes and home assignments. Classes are held on a Monday evening during school terms.

In addition, L.I.F.E. Bible College offers a range of Ministry Training Programs. These courses have a focus on areas of practical ministry, such as Children’s Ministry, Public Pastoral Duties and Homiletics, as well as specialised study of topics such as Healing, Eschatology and the Holy Spirit.

Discipleship & LEADERSHIP TRAINING
Discipleship & Leadership Training:
DLT is an initiative of the Global Foursquare Church, pairing instruction with practical application, to support effective ministry at a local church level. The training is designed to start at the leadership level of the church, but not stop there, rather it is for all members of the church family. The goal of DLT is to see all disciples become disciple-makers or transformational leaders. DLT training can be facilitated at a local church level or an area level with several churches combining. Currently DLT is in production in an online format to be released in 2021 for all Australian churches and into the South Pacific Region of Foursquare.
SAFE BOUNDARIES TRAINING
Foursquare Australia requires all ministers, employees and volunteers of any Foursquare Church or Outreach to complete an initial child protection course and subsequent refresher every three years, with the addition of an annual review prior to commencing in a role as employee or volunteer.
Safe Boundaries Training:
Safe Boundaries has been designed particularly for Foursquare Churches in East Australia. The whole day training includes an assessment and the validation of a WWCC number to a local church or outreach. Training can be conducted for local churches, a group of churches and whole areas. Safe Boundaries Training will be transitioning in 2023 to an online format to make it easier for churches to induct new employees and volunteers throughout the year.
